To make exploring even more fun, we have introduced the Fairydust Passport.
It is a simple, free activity that encourages you to meet the talented exhibitors at our fayres. You could discover your perfect photographer, florist, entertainer, venue stylist or cake maker , and, once your passport is complete and handed back in, you will be automatically entered into our multiple-prize draw.
Even better, there is no purchase required. All you need to do is attend, explore, collect your supplier signatures and enjoy meeting the suppliers.
What is the Fairydust Passport?
The Fairydust Passport is a fun way to make the most of your visit to a Fairydust wedding fayre.
When you arrive, you will be given your passport at the welcome desk. You can then make your way around the fayre, chatting with our exhibitors and finding out more about the services they offer.
Each supplier you visit will sign your passport to show that you have stopped by their stand. It only takes a few seconds, but it gives you a lovely reason to say hello, ask questions and discover what could make your wedding day special.
Once you have finished exploring, simply return your completed passport to the welcome desk before you leave. Handing it in automatically enters you into the Fairydust Passport multiple-prize draw, with no purchase necessary.
How the Fairydust Passport works
1. Collect your passport when you arrive
When you enter the wedding fayre, head to the welcome desk and collect your Fairydust Passport.
Our friendly team will be there to greet you, help you get settled and point you in the right direction. You can also ask any questions about the passport or the event while you are there.
Entry to our wedding fayres is free, so there is no additional cost to take part in the passport activity.
2. Visit the exhibitors and suppliers
Take your time walking around the fayre and meeting the suppliers. You may find a wonderful range of wedding professionals, including:
- Wedding venues
- Photographers and videographers
- Florists
- Bridalwear designers
- Hair and makeup artists
- Cake makers and caterers
- DJs, singers and live entertainers
- Venue stylists and décor specialists
- Photo booths and guestbook providers
- Celebrants and wedding planners
- Honeymoon and travel experts
You do not need to have everything decided before you arrive. In fact, a wedding fayre is the perfect place to gather ideas and ask questions, even if you are still at the very beginning of your planning journey.
Whether you are looking for a particular service or simply want to see what is available, the passport encourages you to explore more of the event rather than only visiting the first few stands you see.
3. Ask each supplier to sign your passport
After you have visited a supplier, simply ask them to sign your passport.
That is all they need to do. There is no lengthy form to complete, and you do not need to make a booking or purchase anything. The signature confirms that you have visited their stand and had the opportunity to meet them.
Our exhibitors will be expecting visitors with Fairydust Passports, so please do not feel shy about asking. They will be happy to sign it for you.
It is also a great opportunity to have a friendly conversation. You might discover that a supplier offers exactly what you have been searching for, or you may come across an idea you had never considered before.
4. Hand your completed passport back in
Once you have finished your visit, return to the welcome desk and hand in your completed passport before you leave the fayre.
As soon as you hand it in, you are automatically entered into the Fairydust Passport multiple-prize draw. There is no purchase necessary to take part.
Please make sure you do this before leaving the fayre, as passports handed in after the event cannot be included in the draw. Our team will collect the completed passports and prepare everything for the live draw.
5. Watch the live draw on the following Wednesday
The exciting part comes next!
On the Wednesday following the wedding fayre, Fairydust will hold a LIVE draw and announce the winners.
Rather than there being just one set prize at every event, there may be multiple prizes, offers or giveaways up for grabs, depending on the fayre. The exact prizes can vary from event to event and may be donated by the venue, by Fairydust Events or by the wonderful suppliers exhibiting on the day.
As an example only, prizes and offers at a previous Dalston Hall Wedding Fayre included a hand-painted venue illustration from Nora and Rose, discounts from Little Mere Soft Play and Bespoke by Briony, a Korean facial from Riman by Sharon, wedding décor discounts, free photobooth hire from Photobooth Cumbria, money off an evening DJ package, a free upgrade and personalised song from Jackson Acoustic, discounts on grazing packages, extra wedding content hours, photography discounts and a free engagement shoot.
These are simply examples of the kinds of prizes and offers that may be available at some events, and they are not guaranteed at every fayre. Prizes, participating businesses and terms may vary by event.

Simply collect your Fairydust Passport on arrival, visit the exhibitors, ask each supplier to sign it, return your completed passport to the welcome desk before you leave and then look out for the live draw on the following Wednesday.
